Welcome to the Fox & Hounds, Uffington

We are a cosy, traditional country pub positioned in the lovely village of Uffington just beneath the famous White Horse Hill and the Ridgeway National Trail.

Visitors come from all over the world to walk along the Ridgeway and marvel at the chalk horse carved into the hillside around 3000 years ago. Here at the Fox and Hounds, we have the best view of the Ridgeway and White Horse of any other pub in the area - all from our large, well kept gardens.

We are the last pub in a village that once had five pubs and like to think of ourselves as the second hub of the community - behind the beautiful St Mary‘s Church of course.
